St Enodoc Golf Club
Celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2015 and recently announced by Golf Digest as number 99 in the world top 100 courses, St Enodoc is a classic links course of the highest stature. Designed by the famed James Braid, the bunkering at St Enodoc is a strong feature of both courses, but as with many exposed links courses, it has proven a very tough task to maintain these bunkers to the high standards members expect.
In Autumn 2014 the club turned to DURAbunker in an attempt to provide a viable alternative to the age old construction methods used for many generations at the club, which were proving unsustainable. 3 bunkers were initially built on the practice area to introduce our synthetic bunkers to the membership and such was the response that the decision was made to introduce DURAbunker onto the Championship Course within a matter of weeks. Following this initial project lead by our team, St Enodoc GC began a major bunker renovation project under a licence agreement in Spring 2015, enabling local greenstaff to continue the project in-house.

Client Feedback on Project:

The construction skills demonstrated by the DURAbunker team were exceptional. We certainly benefitted from having them lead the initial project and I would recommend them to any club. They were a pleasure to work with.
